The Ericsson W25 operates on the 3G/GSM network, and is capable of reaching data speeds of up to 7.2mbps making it faster than standard broadband connections. Connection to your computer is via the W25's 4 port network hub or wirelessly via a WiFi link.
High Quality Voice
The Ericsson W25 operates over the 3G cellular network but has a telephone socket for connecting a landline telephone handset. Call quality is identical to that of a landline and cordless telephones can be used for wireless roaming around the boat.
Wireless Fax
Whether you have converted your boat into your office or you would just like to be reached in every way possible, Ericsson’s W25 will allow you to send and receive faxes via the mobile/cellular network. Users will enjoy the benefits of operating a fax over the mobile network, rather than the more expensive satellite network. In order to send faxes using your W25 you must subscribe to the FaxTerminator service.
